Southern East Asia Tour 2008

... what should I say, "Sydney is amazing".
The harbour is dominated by the harbour bridge (and of course some ocean liners) ...

I made a tour through the inside of the opera, but it is more impressing outside

Finally some more pictures of the Melbourne area ;-).
I made two one day trips:

1. around the bay and back to Melbourne

2. down to the 12 apostels and back along the Great Ocean Drive to Melbourne

1. The way to Sorrento is really beautiful. It feels a bit like driving along the Amalfi coast ... a lot of flowers and vinaries:

From Sorrento you can take the ferry to the other side of the bay. (Martin: The ticket costs 50AUD but is worth it). Yes, bad luck as always, I didn't made it to this one. ... and had to wait for over an hour in the warm car ...

... but the view was worth it ...
.

2. The second trip took me along the great ocean drive. I went via Geelong, Mortlake to Port Fairy and back along the coast to Melbourne. This drive is amazing:

Especially the twelv apostels, or what is left of them
